AKU (Aga Khan University) introduces advanced blood testing system

KARACHI: The Aga Khan University Clinical Laboratories have introduced an automated haematology system, the first of its kind in Pakistan. The new automated equipment which has a capacity to test 150 samples per hour has not only enhanced the accuracy of results but also increased turnaround.

Haematology, the study of blood and blood diseases, is critical in the diagnosis and treatment of a large number of diseases and the new system is facilitating doctors in prompt diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
