As part of its efforts to provide technical training and medical services in the country, the Aga Khan Hospital is now looking forward to work with public hospitals in supporting health care delivery.

The move came along with the hospital’s expansion that will enable the facility to have closer relationship with the referral hospitals especially those found in three regions, Ilala, Temeke and Kinondoni.

Speaking to the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Said Meck Sadick who toured the hospital, Aga Khan Regional Chief Executive Officer, Sulaiman Shahabuddin said for implementation of the plans, in the near future they are expecting to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Amana Hospital in Ilala district.

He further said that as a result of this development, Tanzanians will no longer have to travel abroad to receive top class and quality health care.
