Racing through 100 meters in 11.12 seconds — that’s what it took Mohammad Shahzaib Khan from EASA Technical Academy to win the “Fastest man in Karachi” title at the all Karachi Athletics championship organised by Sindh Track and Field Club and Sindh Amateur Athletics Association.

Held at the National Sports Training and Coaching Center, the first athletics meet of the year opened up with men’s 1,500 meters and women’s 800 meters.

At the end of the 25 track and field events later the same afternoon, the team from Aga Khan University Hospital picked up the championship trophies in the Men and Women categories. Iqra University won the runners up trophy for men, while Karachi Medical and Dental college finished with the number two slot for women athletes.
