Aga Khan Foundation Makes Headway in Mali Education Project

The Aga Khan Foundation, Plan-Mali, Save the Children and World Vision have collaborated with the Canadian Department of Global Affairs for the Improvement of Access to Quality Education Services Project (PASEQ) to improve access to early childhood development centers and the first cycle of basic education. This three-year program, which began in 2014, takes place in 287 Malian villages in the regions of Kayes, Koulikoro, Sikasso, Ségou and Mopti and  will directly affect more than 666,000 people, 337,500 of which are women.
