European Sport Festival food packing for the Nottinghan homeless

During the long weekend of Easter holidays, the Ismaili community of Europe celebrated European sport festival (ESF) under the leadership of Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board (AYSB) with the cooperation of all the Ismaili Institution at the Nottingham University of Nottingham. 2017’s slogan was ‘Meet, Compete and Unite’. The beneficiaries of this festival were the Jamat and the wider community, as well as the Aga Khan Foundation UK which conducts the ‘Partnership Walk and Run’ to raise funds for the Safe water project for Tajikistan.

The homeless people of Nottingham were also the beneficiaries as the AKYSB prepared 50 food packets and handed over to the poor people, which shows the generosity and kindness toward less privileged people.
