[Colors of Pamir] Images from the second Pamir Festival

The second Pamir Festival kicked-off in Khorog, the capital city of Gorno-Badakhshan region of Tajikistan. The event is being organized by Aga Khan Foundation in collaboration with other organization.

Artists from the mountains of Tajikistan, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan (Chitral) and Kirghisitan presented mosaics of traditional dances and folk songs on first day of the two-day festivities.

The stalls staged alongside the musical program also display colorful handicrafts from Tajik and Afghan Badakhshan.
